  1. nice interview, IMHO i love making, mixing and mastering my tracks with a limiter on the master in opposition to the opinions in the video. The reason being that I have a very good understanding of gain staging so my limiter is not pumping in anyway. It helps me a/b to reference tracks and avoid any very loud instruments blowing speakers or ears if there is a loud spike in sound. It's nice to hear mastering engineers talk about how their roll is very small and can't fix mixing issues and their job is to make them fit as a collective of songs.
